What Younivi is

Younivi is the company hub for seven reference publications. Each publication lives on its own host and covers one family of official series: policy interest rates, consumer and producer prices, national accounts, house-price indexes, earnings and labour-force rates, and public-holiday calendars. This site exists so a reader can see who publishes those pages, how the work is done, and how to get in touch. YOUNIVI LIMITED is registered in Auckland, New Zealand (NZBN 9429052621109).

The work is narrow on purpose. We do not run a newsroom, a research floor, or a trading terminal. A typical page shows the latest official observation, a short history, a chart, a table, and a citation back to the file or API the number came from. Country desks reorder the same licensed series toward a particular reader; they do not invent a local series we have not ingested.

What “official data republished” means

The figures on Younivi publications are not Younivi’s own estimates. They are values already published by a central bank, a national statistical office, an international statistical programme, or a government holiday calendar, then shown again in a simpler layout. Where a licence requires attribution, the page names the producer, the series identifier, and the licence. Where a source file cannot be downloaded, that series is omitted rather than filled from memory.

Republication is delayed by design. Sites are static rebuilds: a script reads the official files, writes HTML, and the public page updates when that rebuild runs. Daily policy rates can therefore lag the producing agency by hours or a business day. Monthly and annual series follow the official release calendar, then wait for the next rebuild. A printed value can also change because the source revised its table, not because we restated it.

We do not interpolate missing observations, seasonal-adjust a series the producer left unadjusted, splice two agencies into one homemade history, or convert a target range into a midpoint unless the official file already contains that series. Derived figures that we do compute — for example a year-over-year change from a published index — are labelled as derived on the product that shows them.

How sources are cited

Each product keeps its own methodology and disclaimer (or sources) page. Those pages list the ingest, the identifiers, and the legal notice for that publication. This hub does not replace them. Typical producers include the Federal Reserve system (via FRED), the Bank of England, the Reserve Bank of Australia, the European Central Bank, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, national statistical offices, Eurostat, the OECD, World Bank Open Data, ILOSTAT, the IMF World Economic Outlook (used only where the Bank does not publish an economy, notably Taiwan), and government holiday calendars. The product pages name the file; this hub does not repeat every identifier.

Who it is for

The sites are written for people who want a stable, cited view of a public series: journalists checking a rate, students looking up a CPI level, residents comparing a public-holiday calendar, or anyone who prefers a short table to a 200-column spreadsheet. They are English-language reference pages, not country-specific advice products, even when a desk is labelled New Zealand, Australia, or the United States.

What it is not

Younivi is not a bank, a broker, a lender, or an authorised financial-advice firm. Nothing on this hub or on the product hosts is financial advice, a recommendation to borrow, save, invest, or take any other action, or a forecast. We are not the statistical agency and not a central bank. Official institutions remain the authority for the numbers they publish.
